We collect what we need to run the marketplace — your email, purchases, and basic usage data — and nothing we don't. We don't sell your data. You can request a copy of everything we have on you, or delete your account, anytime.
1. What we collect
We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically when you use the Service.
Information you give us
- Account information: email address, username, display name, password (hashed), and optional profile details
- Purchase information: billing email, payment method (processed by our payment providers, never stored on our servers in raw form), purchase history
- Seller information: if you sell on the platform, we collect tax forms (W-9, W-8BEN), payout details, and bank or PayPal information
- Communications: messages you send to support, reviews you write, and any content you upload as a Seller

- Usage data: pages visited, animations viewed, search queries, and interactions with the Service
- Device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and approximate location

2. How we use it
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process transactions and deliver purchased animations
- Send transactional emails (receipts, security alerts, order updates)
- Send promotional emails, only if you've opted in
- Respond to your support requests and feedback
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: we work with vendors for payment processing (Stripe, PayPal), email delivery, analytics, and hosting. These providers access only what's needed to perform their function.
- Legal compliance: when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety
- Business transfers: if our company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

5. Security
We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls on our systems. Payment information is handled by PCI-compliant payment processors and is not stored on our servers in raw form.
No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
6. Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specifically:
- Account data: until you delete your account, plus 30 days for backup purposes
- Purchase records: 7 years for tax and accounting compliance
- Support correspondence: 2 years
- Anonymized analytics: indefinitely
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to certain processing or withdraw consent

8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian permission to use the Service, particularly for purchases.
9. International users
